Redirect after reply isn't working in forums

Hi everyone,

I installed the new forums for 7.0.3 and I really like them so far.  However, when I reply to a message and click Submit, the page isn't reloading properly.

I took a look at Firebug and I'm getting the following error:

document.h is undefined

One thing that I've noticed is that URL for my pages is different than the Boonex site.  For example, a forum post on this website looks like this:

forums/#topic/Embed-Video-Photo-using-any-embed-code.htm

However, that same topic on my site would look like this:

forum/topic/Embed-Video-Photo-using-any-embed-code.htm

As you can see, the "#" before topic is missing.  I think that this is the smoking gun.  However, I don't even know where to start to fix this.  Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi AlexT,

Unfortunately, my site is private and I can't provide access to it at this time due to a non-disclosure agreement.  I ran a comparison in Firebug between my site and the installation at Boonex.us.  When I click on New Topic on the Boonex installation, I get the following URL:

http://www.boonex.us/forum/#action=goto&new_topic=Dolphin-talk

However, on my site, the URL never updates.  Rather, it just stays on the same URL as the forum that I'm in:

forum/forum/forumnamehere-0.htm

Again, it's giving me this error in Firebug:

document.h is undefined
document.h.makeHist (sMakeHist);
When I try to reply to a thread, I get the following after I click Submit:
document.h is undefined
=============================
Any ideas as to what is happening?

For some reason your <body> tag is damaged, it looks like this:

<bodyid="body" onl...

space after "body" is needed, before "id". I think this causes problems, please check your custom template, it should be some additional spaces in <body> tag.

You nailed it!  Thanks for taking a look at it.  I really appreciate it!
