Recompile Modules Languages

Hi BoonEx!

Can you guys please give me a good reason

why when we do a upgrade or update from any  version like 7.3 to 7.4 or 7.4 to 7.5

Why we need to Recompile-Languages for all the modules

after me fix a lot of words or changes some words like Videos home to say only Videos    Sounds home to say only  Sounds

all the hard work I mate for my site all the language go back to default

do you realy need to recompile languages for modules

Thank's 4 reading

They need to be recompiled to ensure that any NEW strings are added to the system. and any that were removed, are removed.

Recompiling languages is heavy on servers so its not done without good reason.

That's bad because after me working on the language fixing some words all the words I fix they go back to default

It took me years - until just now - to figure it out, but I believe if you add the language file to the update files they will update your keys for you.  They put this at the end of the upgrade instructions, instead of the beginning, so if you follow it like a cook book, you will miss it.  See another post I just did on language keys that some knowledgeable people jumped in on.

I follow the step and everything is working beautiful but the only problem al lthe worlds I fix they go back to default

I thing the language need to be friendly with any update if they make new update will be nice to add the new language key on the old version with out recompile all the module languages

but I don't have another choice to do this again
