Real Names instead of nicknames

This has been asked multiple times yet there still seems to be no answer.  When, if ever, will Dolphin 7 integrate an option to use real names instead of usernames across the entire site, not just under avatars.  This is getting tiring trying to locate all locations of "Nick" in the PHP files.  Is there a mod available that I am not aware of?  My site desperately needs this functionality and would appreciate any insight.

Thanks

Chri

Yea, I saw that thread a while back and implemented it.  My question is sitewide.  So displaying Real name at the top of the profile page, says FirstName's Videos etc.

Please anybody?  This is crucial to a site I'm developing and if its not possible I may have to start looking more closely at PHPfox and the likes.

I recall a ticket being added for Dolphin 7.0.2 which would support spaces in a username (with real names as an example for use). However, I do not know whether or not it will make the cut.

IM looking for this too. Isnt there some mod which enable real name to be used instead of nickname - the best thing is if there will be some option to turn this on/off in admin...

It didn't make the cut, and was pushed back to Dolphin 7.0.3 along with numerous other entries.

After the recent events that transpired showed many shortcomings in the software, I approve of this release, even if some tickets were moved to the next release. We needed this update as soon as possible.

The ability to use spaces in usernames is not a bug, but an actual feature enhancement, and as such, was properly labeled. There are few web software platforms that support the use of spaces in usernames, and for good reasons.

Has this been resolved for 7.0.3?

If not why not change Headline to Full Name this way if you do not want your name searched you leave it blank.

It's been pushed further back to what I like to call the "we're screwing with you now" pile.
