RMS issue ??

I have RMS-7  but my ray suite is refusing to accpet my IP and basically returns to its original settings being IP 0.0.0.0 and with the RMS box unticked!!!

please can you help with this !!!  My host said the RMS is working perfect at their end but ray settings will not connect to RMS properly ????

My host says "The IP which is not saving in your website and it reset to 0.0.0.0 is a Boonex Dolphin issue. Please contact the Boonex Dolphin support to get this issue resolved"

Please help me !!

i forget which xml file it is that gets written to, but you have a rw issue. the file has to be writable, i will try to search that out in the next few hours.

well that was easy enough for me to find.

<item key="RMSIP"><![CDATA[15.rms-host.com]]> (this is where your RMS IP (address) should be listed )</item>

<item key="RMSHttpPort"><![CDATA[5080]]></item>

<item key="bannerUrl" /><item key="bannerLink" /><item key="bannerTarget"><![CDATA[_blank]]></item>

so you could in fact edit this file manually, or you can check your permissions on this directory or file itself file should possess 644 permissions.

sorry do you mean permissions should be 644 ? /public_html/flash/modules/global/xml/config.xml ?

yeah bad choice of words most possibly. yes the permisions on that file and the other two files in that directory should be 644
