Question about matching

Hi,

I'm setting up a new business site - actually getting back to one I set up a while ago and I have a question about matching.

For now, I want to match on two fields "industries" - a predefined values table I made, and "trade countries" another predefined values using the "country" table.  Both have been set to be multiple select, and both are set for 40 percent matching.

So I set up two test records.  Both have "information technology" as their single industry, and both have "China" as their single trade country.

So then I run the matching function, and I get "zero matches".

What gives?  The site is only slightly modified and doesn't seem to have too many bugs.  Anyone know what  might be going on?

Thanks

Rob

I am just trying to get this to work again, and I am stumped.  Again, I have two multiple select fields I would like to match "trade countries" and "industries".  I set up two test records, but have "Agriculture" as the only industry, and "Afghanistan" as the only trade country.   The "trade countries" field is set to match with "trade countries" at 40 percent matching, and the "industries" field is set to match with "industries" also at 40 percent matching.

When I log in with one of these accounts, and hit the "matching" function, I get zero matches, and I have no clue as to why.

This is really important - in fact central, to my application.   Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

Bump - anyone?  I am pretty stumped here, and it is central to what I am trying to do.  Does anyone even know what I should look at, or tests I can try? - I am at a loss.
