Promo Photos Won't Change

I replaced all of the flash promo photos with new ones, but the old ones still keep showing up. I have done all of the cache clearing stuff in /cache and /cache_public but no change. Is there a setting I may have missed? Any ideas? Thanx!

Check the '<root> /media /images/promo/original ' folder to make sure both places have the pictures you intend to display.

Yes they are both the same and contain the images that I want to display.  Any other suggestion? Thanks

As it turns out, the template I was using "hard-coded" the photos right into the template and no amount of mucking about in the Admin panel was going to change the photos. As a bonus, I was able to locate the xml file and change the text at the same time.
