Profile fields-JOIN form-ADD Age I'm looking for?

Basically when i create the join form I want to include my matching search preferences as in age bracket eg 30 - 50,  I also want to have looking for sex and looking for sexual orientation. I have the predefined values created for sexual orientation and sex, I am just needing help with how to fill the fields in correctly.

Help with this will be greatly appreciated as I can't think yet how to do it.

I need this too. I actually want to save the zip code range too . So if User A is looking for someone within 25 miles of 89101, I would like that to be a saved, matchable profile field.

Any help? Using 7.0.3
