Profile Sounds Player Not Displaying on Profiles

hello i have a strange issue.

on some member profiles the sounds player is not appearing on their public profile yet they have the same membership status as the profiles that Do display it.

help would be appreciated as this is an incredibly important part of my website for demos to be played.

regards

Chris

Keep in mind that some blocks won't appear unless there is content for them.  This might be the case for the sound player.  Check the members where the player is not appearing and see if they have content.

Thats just it Geek_girl, the members that the player is not showing for DO have audio uploaded to their account. could this be a database issue due to the fact that the sounds also do not save when you rearrange the order in /organise/ ??

You could try the organise thing on the demo site.  Note to Boonex, the timer is too short on the demo site to perform some tests.  See if it breaks there.

I think it may be a SQL issue?!

Organise doesnt save the new positions, the new uploaded demos show in the album but not on the player and some new uploaded sounds to an album on a new profile are not displaying. could this be the case?

Im still experiencing this issue its like the code is broken somewhere when you upload the Mp3 to the album it displays in the album but does not update on the player that a new file has been added, and this is also apparent that the software is not writing to the database with the new position of the audio when you use the Organize album page.....

Please can someone help! this is a VERY important part of my website to showcase my members' talent.!!

Is there supposed to be a SAVE button on this menu bar?!?!

Because if that is the case No Wonder its not entering the new position of the sounds to the database.!

you can visit the same page by going to     www.yourwebsite.com/m/sounds/albums/my/organize

As far as I know, that is ajaxed and the saving of the position is done by the script; therefore, no need for a save button.  Let me see if I can test on the demo site.

Did you manage to discover anything Geek_Girl?

im still facing this issue of the player not updating with recently uploaded files and the order not saving and updating on the player.
