When viewing another member's profile, the option to switch their picture shows up.
While it appears that you cannot actually switch their picture, you should not even see the option to change somebody else's profile pic..
What am I doing wrong?

Yes, I was confused, as well as others, about the profile switcher block. It does not switch a member's profile photo. It simply lets one look through a member's profile photos. It should be changed to "View Profile Photos". It is just an easy way for someone to go to a profile and look through the profile photos. It would be useful on a dating site where a member might have several profile photos they want to share with a prospective interest.
It is best if the profile switcher is placed below the profile photo block. More ideally would be to see the photos change in the profile switcher block instead of the profile photo block.

As usual I agree. Were you able to replace the photo block with the View Photos ;) Block?

It would be the same block, you simply change the language key so that instead of saying Profile Photo Switcher, it says "View Profile Photos" so that members have a better understanding of it. In fact, I think I will go to my site and do that now.
There is a topic on here where we talked about this because we, meaning me and several others, were confused. Boonex is not always clear about the things they add to Dolphin.

OK, wait, I think I know what you mean now.
No, I have not made any changes to the block. You have to have both the profile photo block and the profile switcher. I have not looked into the code on this.
What I would like to see is one block that incorporates both, showing the profile photo and then letting one step through the images, instead of this two block solution that we currently have.

If you figure out how to create a module or whatever in the store to rectify this, let me know.. I will buy it. We are on the same sheet of music here..
