Profile Composer and 7.1.1

I have contacted Anton but he seems to be passing it off as a problem with my site.

I downloaded the current version of Profile Composer mod as I had already seen a problem upgrading the test site.  I made sure the test site was an exact clone of the live site.  I upgraded the module and it worked on the test site, sliding blocks around worked.  After I ran the upgrade script to 7.1.1 without any errors reported, following the instruction to the letter, the Profile Composer module stopped allowing one to reposition the blocks, you grab a block on the page, drag it to a new position and when releasing the mouse button the block slides down to the bottom of the page.  Now, it can not be anything to do with my site design blocks or css classes because that exact same module worked on the exact same site before I upgraded to 7.1.1.  It has to be the changes in 7.1.1.  I intend to upgrade the site to 7.1.4 but want to make sure where any problems occur instead of running to the end and then seeing problems and not knowing when they occur.

Now, the Profile Composer module works with jquery to allow repositioning the blocks.  The question is to understand what changed with 7.1.1 that could cause the module to stop working.  Maybe others have had similar issues?

The upgrade instructions told me to:

Delete the following files manually via FTP or SSH:

inc/js/jquery_ajax.js
plugins/htmlpurifier/standalone/HTMLPurifier/Lexer/PEARSax3.php
plugins/jquery/jquery.dimensions.js

Which I did, everything else was the upgrade script.  One of the important things about Profile Composer is allowing to rearrange the blocks on the page.

I didn't have the exact same problem, but might have had I got so far as to install Profile Composer I suppose...

I hit a wall after installing Multi-Page Creator, and could not drag n drop page builder blocks within Multi-Page Creator's admin/Page Builder....

It was a problem with JS files which had changed in the base....I said screw-it, and put the Pages project on the backburner....

Come 7.1.4 All was good Undecided

I thought about skipping ahead with the upgrades but I would like to know that this problem would not just carry over to the end.

I was not so happy with Anton's saying it was the designboxes and classes on my page and saying it would cost me to fix it when the module worked on the exact same page before upgrading to 7.1.1.  This is unlike Anton, he has been good in the past to work with.  It is obvious it is something to do with the upgrade.  So if the members here could give suggestions on what conflicts it could be, it might help me to figure it out.

The module states that it is compatible with 7.1.1.  So if it is working with 7.1.0 and I upgrade to 7.1.1 and it stops working; wouldn't that indicate it is NOT compatible with 7.1.1?  It was working with all mods, javascript/jquery installed on the site before upgrading to 7.1.1 and now it is not working.  I would think that it is clear that if it was working before the upgrade, then it must be the upgrade that is the problem and not my site.

What about database changes, I may have database errors turned off.  Perhaps a change in the database is keeping the module from functioning correctly?
