Problems and Fixes

OK i have a few problems and a couple of adjustment help questions - here it goes.

#1. New Blogs posted do not email site administrator to tell us there is one waiting to be approved, and the website automattically displays the blog even though it has not been approved - yet in the admin dashboard it shows in Red # Blogs waiting approval. i have updated the php page to the latest 7.1.2 one to send all global emails but still no luck.

#2. The Profile "Membership Badge" mod on the market place for some reason displays correctly on the Members Dashboard but not on the member' Profile i.e http://vau37.voiceartistsunited.com/ChrisKendall_VA  - any suggestions?

#3. How can you re-organise / prioritise sounds on the html5 player ie. Commercial 1, IVR 2, etc so it shows in this order on the player?

#4. the http links that are displayed on the website are not active and i cannot figure out how to make this so, i have read forum posts and it states to make sure http:// is before the address but it is still not allowing them to be active . Any suggestions?

#5. How do i make some of the Block Titles a live link I.E: Blogs Block on home page i would like to make the title "Blogs" active to direct to the blogs area.

#6. When i upload sounds to my profile they do not display in my album and on the "Manage Sounds" link i see "Access Denied" - yet other members and admin do not see this.

Please Disregard #2. this has been repaired by reuploading the latest version from the marketplace.

however i am experiencing difficulties with the JS i think ( DOB Calander and the drop down menus i.e preferences and such under "account control menu on members' dashboard) the arrow has dissapeared and keeps doing so the only way of fixing it temporarily is by reuploading the shark template but i cannot keep doing this as it is continuously time consuming.

4. By active, do you mean clickable?  If they are not clickable, then it could be that the anchor tag is not being placed around the text.  Which links are you referring to that are not active?  Anyway, without the anchor tag around what you see on the screen, they won't be clickable.

5. You will need to edit the template for that block; or edit the code that generates that block and place an anchor tag around the title that links to blogs.

If it is a problem with the shark template, then you might need to quit using the template or have someone take a look to see why.

#1. Admin always see all posts in blogs, try to logout - not-approved posts shouldn't be visible.

there is still the issue of the website not informing me that there are blogs awaiting approval though?.

Hi Alex,

Just as the website sends admin an email that new members have joined , i would like the website to inform me when a new blog post has been made and is waiting approval, as it does not at present - only displays in red on the admin dashboard.

#6 has been resolved turns out it was to do with the link i had for members to access their album -

m/sounds/albums/my/add_objects/{memberNick}-s-sounds/owner/admin/playlist

i removed the {memberNick}-s-sounds/owner/admin/playlist

and now the issue of Access denied has been resolved.

I still have ~ #1,3,4,5 to correct.

1 and 3 remaining!

There is no such notification, however there is notification about any content which is pending review.

It is sent each day, if there is some content for moderation.

If it is not sent then you have disabled email notifications in admin profile or cron job is not setup properly.

All issues Resolved - NB: Boonex = There really needs to be a Topic Closed button on here.

It would be nice if we could mark a topic as resolved.  I have seen a lot of people reviving some very old topics because they have the problem and are looking for an answer.
