Problems after upgrading to 7.0.5 - Clearing Cache and Forums

So I finally upgraded to 7.0.5 and here is what I have noticed so far:

a.  Can no longer Clear Cache from Admin - tried countless times using different browsers

b.  Cannot Compile Language for Forums - [[Love that]]

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Laughing

Okay, so I solved the forum issue.  Now I just need to figure out why I can no longer clear cache in administration.

Or is it clearing, but it no longer says that it cleared????

Anybody have any ideas/suggestions?

I have never see this problem. But one thing you will want to check.

Using FTP or Cpanal empty the contents of the following folders.

cache
cache_public
tmp

Then make sure all 3 of those folders are writable.

Unlikley i can offer any additional help. Never seen this problem before.

Thanks Deano and UF0360 for your responses.

I cleared cache, cache public, and tmp folders (except for .htaccess)

The file permissions for all these folders are 0755 - this is correct right?

Still not working though...

Also, I have now discovered a few more issues since the upgrade to 7.0.5:

a.  I can no longer search for members in my admin - wheel keep spinning and no results...

b.  I can no longer delete comments and other posts on members' walls...  wheel also keeps spinning forever...

To be honest, I'm scared to do any further investigation, as I'm not sure there are any answers/solutions to these problems.  Perhaps my member count has gotten to the breaking point.

Yea they all set to 755

but when you go to search for members on your admin panel do you go here

Admin Home   >>   Members   >> Than Click Search Right and Type the name of the member you want to seacrh if you do please make

sure when you add the name of the member don't have space

So you can't delete comments and other posts on members' walls...

do you try to check your membership permision if not go here

Membership Levels  >>   Levels  >> Than scroll down your windows and you will see

Wall Delete Comment

Wall Post Comment

Make sure they select for that membership if they not select if not enable so you can't do that

I hope this help
