Problems With Member Search

The "Member Search" seems to have problems on my site.  I had the Hosting Company look but they have no idea what the problem is.

I have over 7000 members so finding people should be easy but it often shows no one. I have entered my city, state and zip code in my profile and I still can't find me or anyone else in neighboring states in the search module.  A "few" results will show up, for example, in California but there should be hundreds of results.

MY members have experienced the same issues.

Any ideas on this? Thanks.

Yes I see that you have trouble. Can you check that these fields, country,  sex, date of birth in profiles table ? All these fields should be non empty!

I checked the database. Yes, those fields are there and MOSt are filled in.  In some profiles, the city or state is blank but not so many that it would affect a search.
