Problem with migrating Profiles from 6.1.6 to 7

I just installed 7.0.3 in a subdirectory. When I try to migrate the profiles, it just sits there "in process"

any ideas?

I verified that my cron is fully functional.

depending on how many profiles you have, it could take a bit

Its only 175 profiles. Whenever I would navigate to the members section...still only 1 user. It doesnt seem to be populating anything.

I've tried this process over and over and still get the same exact results. The profiles are still now being passed over to the new database.

There may be some of troubles :

1. You cron jobs is not configured for new D 7.0.3

2. Php don't shortage of memory

3. Other php errors (you can see all of them into error.log file)

Check these all and get us to know

PS: If possible do not write me personally, please try to ask on the forum first

For the Cron Job, I copied and pasted exactly what the install stated. I know for sure that cron in general is working ok. But how do I verify that the D7 cron specifically is working?

My Crontab:

MAILTO=webmaster@mydomain.com
* * * * * cd /srv/www/rhino/d7/periodic; /usr/bin/php -q cron.php

The above is what the install generated for me to copy and paste. I also left the old cron entries from the dolphin 6.1.6 install. Below is what is there:

MAILTO=webmaster@mydomain.com
0 0 * * * /usr/bin/php -q /srv/www/rhino/periodic/cmd.php
*/10 * * * * /usr/bin/php -q /srv/www/rhino/periodic/notifies.php
* */1 * * * /usr/bin/php -q /srv/www/rhino/periodic/cupid.php

And for the PHP memory, are you referring to the memory_limit variable within php.ini? If so, what is the recommended setting? I have it set to 128MB.

Also, I did a "find / -name error.log" and it returned no results. Could you point me in the right direction? Sorry, n00b here...lol. I always thought that when PHP errors out, the screen just turns white and you then have to enable it in the browser.

My setup is sorta complicated. I would hate to trouble you with it. I have a test server which runs on a virtual machine. So I'm trying to get the migration to work there before doing it on the live server. The test server is an exact copy of the live server.

Would that be ok?
