Problem with FFMPEG.EXE during dolphin install 7.0.9

Hello everyone, I've searched for the answer for this for ages but all I come up with is forums where people don't know how to change the permissions. My problem is relevant to the permissions, as during install it says that ffmpeg.exe is non-executable but should be executable. I have adjusted the permissions in every possible combination that I can think of for the executable portions, but it is still saying it is nonexecutable. Anyone run into this before and/or know how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

The mode for executable of mode 777

If you have tried that then your only option is to talk to your host. You most likely are on a server where the host does not allow executables. Servers that dolphin are put on must meet certain requirements to run dolphin. http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DolTech

More information on how to install dolphin and set permissions is here. http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DetailedInstall

There area few files that cannot be changed with programs like SMARTFTP, etc. You have to go into your cpanel and do it there. Works everytime :)

Hope this helps,

Hostgator or hostmonster will be my suggestion.

I would suggest Terabyte Hosting Solutions (terabyte-hosting.com)

Host actually uses dolphin. So they know dolphin, servers properly support dolphin, and i have been with them for years.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
