Problem whith refresh ORCA forum

hello,

here is the last problem that I can not find an answer.

Let me explain.

When I want to post an answer, a new topic, deleting a message or topic, when I want to delete a topic, and I click enter, validate, or delete, the page remains fixed.

Yet the work performed and well validated.

I'll post an example with images to be understood.

The following is a response to a topic.

Step 1, write the message and I agree:

Step 2, the page not refresh:

Step 3, but the message is still sent:

Basically no matter manipulation, page refreshed automatically. Should I updatemanually to see the result.

Someone help me please?

Thank you!

Best regards

I am not too sure but maybe its client side problem maybe your browser. Is everyone on your site having  this issue?

what is your site address?

have you added any javascript or altered any?

so much to do....

yes, this happens and I believe is a flaw. When one hits submit, there is no way to tell if the message has been registered, the screen just sits there, yet the message has been stored, if you hit submit again it will store it again thus giving you multiple entries of the same comment.

This does not happen in all places, but certain ones. What it should do is either, give a message or screen should refresh, but better yet the screen should return back to where you started from.

I hope this is the same issue I see on some of my forum entries in some of the mods.

I do not have a solution, but am hoping like you to find one. What really boggles me is that no one reports this. Even top notch developers do not see this as  a flaw.

So lets hope someone will address this issue. This actually becomes worse if you are uploading files and such. Never mind the frustration level for the members.
