It's trying to delete the template through FTP and it can't login.

Did you upload the template from admin?

yoursite.com/administration/templates.php?mode=add

If you did not upload the template via admin, from the above url then the ftp settings do not get saved. Boonex neglected to provide a way to update the FTP settings unless you upload a template.

So if you did not upload it from admin, you can't delete it from admin.

It also will not work anyway if your not running standard FTP on the standard FTP port. Which means i can't use it anyway because i use ssh and on a non standard port number which dolphin does not support.

Yes, the backend FTP is not really of much use; for example, the way that most modules are packaged one can not upload them through the Add and Mange Modules section.  I don't even bother with the FTP in the backend.

The way to remove the templates is to switch to a different template from the one that is being deleted.  Then ftp into your site or use CPanel and remove the template directory.  Then you can refresh your template view in the backend and the template will be gone from the list.  DO NOT delete a template if the site is set to that template; it will cause some grief
