Private Photos module

Is there a module for a "private photos" where the member can have some private albums. Another member can request to view them. The member has to approve the request to allow them see the private photos.. Is this a module or possible feature?

You have the possibility to create a new privacy group and then assign a members which are allowed to see the Album.

This has been asked before.  You can use the built-in "create privacy groups" as Mayki stated; you have to enable this in the admin.

This is how it can work without a special module; I don't know of any module to help automate the process.  A member creates a photo album and assigns it one of their created privacy groups; only those in the privacy group will be able to view the photos in the album.  A member sends a request using the messaging system or instant message to be able to view the album.  The album owner reviews the requests and accepts or rejects the request.  If they accept, they go to the privacy group and add the name of the member using the search feature; when the system finds the user, they click on the checkbox and add them to the list.  The member can then view the photo album.

An automated way would be nice; request a job and someone may decide to work on it.

There is a mod in the Market for this type of request here: http://www.boonex.com/m/Private_Photo_Plus

With that said, I would make sure you ask questions and test the module before purchasing. I should also advise that this module requires extensive changes to core files and can be difficult for the unexperienced. Make sure you keep record of all core file changes as you 'may' be required to re-edit the file(s) after Dolphin upgrades.

Nothing to see here
