I have searched the forums and googled this, but cannot seem to find anything helpful.
The fields of City, Country and Zip Code in profiles are not enough for U.S. users due to multiple states with the same city. While the search feature will work if the user adds their zip code, browsing to a user profile or a search by anything other than zip code will result in poor results.
So, is there a way to make the state/province/county a required field? Even better would be the ability to validate or complete the information automatically if a zip code were entered.
