 I have read some negativity about greetings being useless and fumbling around codes to have that removed from the system.
I decided to turn it into something positive and useful: Poking! Like Facebook. Thought I'd share with others who may want to do the same.

Either allow a short, character limited text with greetings or just pull it is my opinion. If you are going to send a greeting one should be able to say, "Hello, like your new avatar". That is a greeting.
I never understood the FaceSucks concept of poking someone, that is not much better than pinching them on the arse. A poke is rude, don't poke me.

Uhhh I met my soon to be wife on Facebook due to the "poke" feature, she just out of the blue poked me and we went back and forth for months without ever talking,, then I added her cause I thought she was a bot or a fake.. I was thinking "no one that beautiful would waste their time poking me for this long" .. she stalked my profile and read my post for about a year before she finally commented and talked to me at all,, turns out she is a blood relative of a long time friend of mine from myspace.. didnt take me long to realize she is the love of my life,, and all that from a FACEBOOK POKE!!.....
