Please wait message

It only seems tto happen with ie8.The site seems to slow down when using simple messenger. You try to reply to someone you're chattting to, but a little box pops up saying "Please wait" after which the site becomes unusable and I have to switch over to another browser.

While on the subject of the simple IM and browsers, has anyone tried the messenger with Opera? It seems to want tto do things upside down. It defaults to the top of the conversation until the other person replies to which it goes back to the bottom of the conversation.

This is happening to me under all browsers, but in Chrome other errors happen after the initial Please Wait message. Did you find a fix for this?

ha,

there was a time, that it was reported and i witnessed it, that there was a popup when trying to use the shoutbox, but you couldnt read the message, it was just there, and blank. weirdest thing. im not sure if the guy ever did get rid of that?

strange, indeed.

Please wait - phrase appear if your site didn't  return any answer. It's maybe because your server is overloaded with requests. Try remove some of messengers - simple messenger or Instant messenger

PS: If possible do not write me personally, please try to ask on the forum first

SashaE,

when i witnessed this, the server was most likely not overloaded. matter of fact, i am going to check that site, and see if that shoutbox is still there. will report back.

i know what it is

that GRAND Ol' Avoided XML.php file

i have watched that file(s) wreak havoc on server after server, configuration after configuration. mysql optimized, memcache running, XML.php is a nasty dirty file, and the kewlest part of it all, is there is no explanation for it, other than maybe, your server is misconfigured.

right!
