Please help someone

Helo Everyone,

I have an issue in my login block.

when I click login link or used the login block it show me 3 options

1. Basic

2. Facebook connect

3. Universal login

I do not know how, who or what added on mods alter or add this "universal login" link.

When I select "Universal login" link to see what happen. This is the message I recieved.

It's a third party mod, and you'll have to take it up with the developer.

That is what I believed, my problems is I do not know what mods this features came from, what I should do is install one mod at a time, test to make sure the mod works before install other mods. Now I do not know what mods this feature come from. Any idea how to find this out?

Ummmm.....you inadvertently install an RPX module?

You are correct, I think. Because I did not install my mods, I have developers installed them for me. You said RPX

Then either this 2 developers ( Janrain )  or martinboi who i bought my "live Join" from

I cantacted martinboi for help and they denied that it came from them as I recalled. after I got "live Join" installed I saw this "Universal login" I also saw RPX mods not from martinboi but from Jairain.

thank for your 2 helping me.  I will never use martinboi services again.

live join is the RPX module you purchased from martinboi, I purchased it too.

the drop down "universal login" is from that module.

The thing that brother me is why marttinboi denied his mess, this is not good, not honest.

 there is a post on here maybe from deano, I purchased his facebook connect module and it has the instructions on how to remove the drop down.

you can do a search on here, I know he provided members with the code on how to put a button in the login box but not sure about the other and I will not share that, I will let him post that here..

otherwise it is just as easy to remove the entire module from the admin section of your dolphin site.

how do you get the ver 75? i know it a beta. is this better 7.0.4 ?

Do you have both the 'Live Join', and some other RPX - Janrain module installed?

both do the same HL

they both have the same drop down box..

Yes, when I bought "live Join" they install it for me, as soon as they were done installed. I found also RPX.

I think the developer just a middle man (between buyer (me) and janrain. that is why when they installed "live Join" so is Janrain RPX installed.

So... do I understand you correctly, in that you have two separate modules installed that do the same thing?

Yes Sir. I can not believe this developer. it cost me $45.00 buck. I can get it free. But the point is the developer denied his mods putting the "universal login" link. why not honest and say "I don't know" I can accept that. Even though he is the developer he should know it is coming from his mod, as he just implement his mod to connect free to janrain. So another word i pay for his magical work, (he hook me up with janrain LOL"

I will never use his services any more, his lost. Let us give this issue a rest. let's go of it

with the free RPX "Universal Login" module your allowed total of six "configured" social accounts and a limit of 2,500 login, sign-ups to your site per year.

with the one we purchased, your allowed twelve total social accounts to choose from, and unlimited logins.

Of course this is all in the documentation.
