Hundreds killed in tsunami after 8.9 Japan quake - Only God can help , so people together we pray to God to help his people.

I put most of the blocks on my homepage to Inactive block in page builder. This is how i like my homepage to look.

I do have a donation block, and it used to display on my homepage prior putting this donation block in active block in admin/page builder/homepage

o.k ofcourse by doing this, i will not see it at homepage.

But i want to see it after I login.

how do i do this?

after login what page it land to (the name of the file)

weadnav, glad it helped you out. i have somewhat of a favor to ask of you. when you post these threads, could you take a few extra moments to provide a meaningful subject line, as this provides a better method for searchability when others may be facing the same situation or similar circumstance, and they have to dig through thousands of tickets named  'please help'

a more suitable and appropriate title would have been something along the lines of  'create custom block visible to members only' which i think if you would search that, you yourself would find answers that would have assisted you .

the logic behind free help, is that it benefits the community as a whole, and thoughtful and planned subject lines are more productive.

thanks for your consideration on this, and hopefully we can continue providing the tidbits of information that help those such as yourself.

the navigation menu buttons. Can I do the same, uncheck visible for guess, so they will not show up on homepage until members login, then it show on all pages.

I rather ask before I screw up.

dolphin is a beast and you should fear the beast. you need to always make sure you are backing up,  you cannot back too much. especially as you are learning.

i would like to say there is no such thing as a stupid question, but i have been proven wrong on that on so many levels when dealing with an open forum. in this case, your question is not stupid at all, and deserves the answer provided by Deano, all items be it block | page | or menu, are in essence just an item and have the control functionality from the admin panel to set viewable parameters.

i actually think there was a mod that enhanced that as well, and it most possibly was written by Deano, where you can set limits on access by specific membership levels. i have not tried that out yet, as i have not had the need for it, but can see where it could be incredibly useful.

I manged to took down most of the navigation menu links ---- except 3 left

1. I do know what to do with the forums link menu button

2. I do not know how to get the 2 other Icon or links off the homepage into inactive block. or it there anyway i can get rid off the bar across the page

this will give me more space on my homepage
