How do I fix this? My site ( http://www.FreePersonalClassifieds.com ) loads just fine, but if you click on any profiles you get this message:

The requested URL /Gold_B_Locs was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

It would seem that you're missing the .htaccess file in the root directory of your installation. Verify that it's there. If not, download a copy locally and upload the .htaccess file to your site. On some operating systems, it may be hidden, meaning you'll have to enable the viewing of hidden files. BoonEx Certified Host: Zarconia.net - Fully Supported Shared and Dedicated for Dolphin |
Thanks. That fixed the problem. My site was hacked, so I ended up deleting all of my .htaccess files since they were all redirecting to some malware site. Any ideas on better security? |
I recommend you always change your web host-related passwords regularly, and make sure they are randomly-generated and not dead simple (this amounts to most of the hackings here). I also recommend when providing access to your administration panel or cPanel to someone for support, you always change the password for them and then change it back once they're done. Also, only give the information needed. If someone only needs FTP access, don't give them cPanel access. Just make them a new FTP account restricted to the related directory and remove it once the job is done. BoonEx Certified Host: Zarconia.net - Fully Supported Shared and Dedicated for Dolphin |

I also recommend you do a check of all your files, since I'd imagine the .htaccess files are not the only ones affected. Your hosting provider should be able to help you.
Edit: UFO360, that's not a virus, it's a trojan.
