If all you did was change the name and then change it back have you cleared the cache?

Manually by way of FTP is best, do not delete any .htaccess files though.

I wanted to change the title of each page individually for seo puyrposes but apparently its hard to do with Dolphin. I think theres a mod out there. Google kept indexing things i didnt want to be indexed so i thought i needed to change some things

How exactly did you go about changing the names? Were you in an FTP program renaming the files? Were you in Dolphin doing something? Maybe answering those may help to get closer to a resolution.

I have resolved it thank you everyone.

I changed the name of the index.php using Dreamweaver but as i found out, you cannot edit that section as it is already set in the headers file. Which means it can only be changed from headers.php and that means that its the same for every page. I think what i'm writing is correct so please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

I wanted to change the titles for each page and put descriptions etc for seo purposes.

I resolved it but putting it back to how it was.

The main page is the only page that has Description and Keyword settings. Set from admin in the meta tags section.

I have a mod that allows you to set titles and other metatags on a per page basis. http://www.boonex.com/unity/extensions/entry/Head_Injections
