Playing music throughout site

I am helping a friend with ther online radio site. Right now the audio player is set to not autoplay, and everything is working correctly. What we would like to do is this:

Once the user clicks play, we owuld like for the music to continue to play as the user surfs the site, without having to click the play button each time they change page. Even if we went with the autoplay, there is a brief pause wheile waiting for the next page to load. If anyone could help me with this, I will be greatly appreciative.

Quick Note - right now I have the code on the _header.html page. Yes we are using Dolphin (trying to convince him to switch to dolphin cause a lot of his requests are already in dolphin)

Its gonna be complex. One way i can think of is using an iframe for your site and keeping the music player on the main page. You can navigate in the iframe and that should keep the outer frame intact and music should play continuously. Its pretty much theoretical now. Give it a shot if you want.

so much to do....

i think you need to work with the template. make top part of website fixed like facebook top bar. so every time user navigate top bar remain in its place. now u can put a tiny player or a radio player in there. you need to do lot of googling on this subject :p
