Photo Upload Error After Switch To FastCGI - Help Please

I switched my VPS to fastcgi tonight (per Boonex recommendations) and it has apparently stopped me from being able to upload photos now.

I get the following error showing up in my server logs.

mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Warning:  move_uploaded_file() [<a href='function.move-uploaded-file'>function.move-uploaded-file</a>]: Unable to move '/tmp/phpr4C7CT' to '/home/******/public_html/modules/boonex/photos/data/files/1_temp' in /home/******/public_html/modules/boonex/photos/classes/BxPhotosUploader.php on line 338

The perms are correct according the admin panel so I don't know what to think or do here.

Can anyone offer me some advice on this - I'm clueless.  Oddly, MP3 uploads DO work. I just don't know what is going on.

EDIT: I changed the permissions for "plugins/htmlpurifier/standalone/HTMLPurifier/DefinitionCache/Serializer" to 755 and now the photo uploads work. This shows as being an incorrect setting in Admin ==> Host Tools ==> Permissions though so I don't understand what the deal is - or if this is going to cause me problems down the road.

Thoughts?

the modules where the files are writable to and from need to in fact be readable and writable, if you changed to FCGI, test those directories on both 777 perm and 755, with 755 being the best option, but some directories just dont want to behave with less than RWX

Thanks DosDawg.

I actually had that directory set to 777 but it wouldn't work until I switched it back to 755 which I think is kind of wierd, but it works & allowed the uploads again.

Some things are better left understood perhaps :P

I have this problem now too. I tried your solution but it didn't work. Any one else had this problem or can confirm that the solution above did or didn't work for them?

Thanks
