Photo/Text Watermarks

Instead of using an image to be used as watermark, could text be used instead..... so when a user uploads a picture the sitename/username is displayed on the image.

No because that function work with image only,  (make transparent, etc!)

try to create a .gif file with transparent background.

this is the best thing to do..

I want to be able to add the username to the photo not just an image.

 Was this ever made possible?

would like the option too instead of the normal picture watermark.
