PayPal - YECH

I am one of those people that think where there's smoke, there must also be a little fire. I have had issues in the past with PayPal locking funds down on me as a merchant when someone registered a complaint and fought for over a month to get my money released. I also do not like the proprietary tactics PayPal uses to keep you a customer, even against your own will. Several attempts to close my accounts with them and have them remove my credit card data in the past have always failed even when they told me it was done. It is also well known that they are NOT a bank and as such, do not have to follow banking regulations that were created to protect consumers like you and me.

Anyone that uses PayPal, IMHO should have their head examined. That is my opinion. It is also the opinion of a LOT of other people.

The only reason I bring this up is I buy a lot of mods from this site. Most of the people that sell mods here make it possible to take a different route other than PayPal to purchase the mod with a credit card. This makes it simple for all of us. Some, however, still insist on offering PayPal as the only way to make the purchase. To those people, all I can say is, sorry. I will find what I need somewhere else.

It's not that hard to offer multiple choices. It is in your best interest as a merchant to do so.

Paypal is doomed, they set thier own laws, and they get away with it.

I agree, I hate using them after almost 14 years online, and recommend using Alertpay or others.

I refuse to let them have anything worth more than a 100.00 bucks in my account - they are messed up.

For buyers, Paypal is great.  For sellers, it's a P.O.S.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.
