Page Builder: Add New Page Bug

Hi, I have added several new pages and understand how to do so.

However, I recently added a new one and something strange is happening - when I click on BUILDERS > PAGES BLOCKS > and then try to select it from the 'drop down' menu where is says 'SELECT PAGE' the page 'refreshes' but it just shows the same default 'SELECT PAGE' in the drop down menu and I the new page doesn't load up for me to edit like it does on all the other that I have created.

When I try to 'create a new page' with the same name, it won't let me - so it DOES see that it exists, but it won't let me select it to edit it.

Help please?  Does anyone know how to delete the new page, since I can't select it? (please provide details, as I am not a programmer, but fairly savvy)

Thanks so much!!!!

I would just name it something else, but the name is really important.

When you made your page did you added colums to it for the blocks to fit in? And if you want to delete the page you have to go through your cpanel and delete it through your phpMyadmin section. check these link, it will help. Next time just search for pages and you will find this. Hope this helps

Hi Lightwolf! Thanks so much for the help ;)

For the other pages, I always added the HTML blocks.  I think when I created this page, I didn't get the chance to create one - and now I can't select the page to add an html block.  Make sense?

I went to the link you sent me - and it shows all of the search results for 'new page' but I had searched that before and didn't find anything very helpful for this issue.

I am now in my cpanel PHPmyadmin - how do I find and delete the page without messing up the database?  I know enough to get in there - but I am afraid to start changing things and screw it up - and then have to reinstall everything (yikes!).

Thanks so much!!

All pages are in the table sys_page_compose_pages

Look for the name you gave the page and delete that entry from the table.

Then you need to empty the cache.

Hi - that did it!  So - I went back and created the page correctly (with an HTML block, etc).  So now the page exists and has a column and an HTML block.

BUT - the same thing is happening, I can't go back into my page builder and select it.  When I select it, it just refreshes the page and shows the default state of the tab 'select page' and doesn't load the page to edit.

Any thoughts?  Very weird!

Thanks!

Hi guys - I just figured out why it wouldn't let me edit the page - it had something to do with the URI name I gave it.  I was being stupid and used a URI with a colon (:) in it.  I also didn't use underscores in the spaces between the words in my URI.

Thanks for your help - hopefully someone else reads this and can go back and delete the page in the database, and then re-enter it with an acceptably structured URI name.

Thanks again - all fixed!

What I'm trying to figure out and I hope someone can help me here is:

I have created my custom page by copying profile_info.php and naming it profile_info2.php

now what I want to do is to be able to edit it in page builder, so then I can add and remove blocks I want. Is this possible?

I have exported some database tables and i'm trying to learn the table link structure so I can do it, but it seems I'm missing something. Is there anywhere I can find tutorial for this sort of thing?

Also does anyone know which table stores the content for pages?

Many thanks all
