Page Blocks

I have searched the forums on this, but maybe my queries were not right, but here is my question.

How do I add existing blocks from one page to another page? I am trying to create a page that covers all media items such as Files, Video, Sound, and Photo. I would like to the page to display the Featured blocks from each section. Does anyone have any advice on how this can be done or another way to approach this ?

There is a module for this type of thing in the market.

It's called block tools (i think)  by deano.

keep in mind even with this module some of the "system blocks" can not be moved around or to other pages. 

Thanks for the response dolphin_jay. I looked at that mod, but apparently the blocks I want to copy are not copyable. Sounds like this won't be able to be accomplished with out hiring a programmer.

what blocks are you trying to move and to what page - some cases some have found ways to make things work. And depending on what it is as well, you may be able to do service calls.

Professor is correct, you can do a service call to the search functions for files, photos, videos, and sounds, and display them in a block on the page.  You have to create a php block for each and put in the search criteria.
