Not accepting license?!

I have just installed Boonex Dolphin at my site www.reemzo.com. The installation was really smooth and all features appear to be working perfectly however when I go to the license page and enter my license, the site does accept it. When I click register, the page just reloads asking me to enter my license every time.

Can someone please help?

Are you trying to enter FREE license?

As of dolphin 7.1, free licenses are no longer used. Dolphin runs without a license(Trial), but constantly nags(Trial Alerts) for one in admin. But does not affect the operation of dolphin.

I have the same problem. If I enter my license (old permanent license) and klick on register the page also only reload.

It's a permanent paid for license. It was working perfectly when I used it on beta 1 but done a fresh install of beta 2 and it's not working.

It maybe that license is already registered for another domain.

Try to reset license domain:

BoonEx Account -> Licenses -> click on domain below the license code -> press "Reset" button on opened popup window

Then try to register Dolphin with the license again.

I have tried and its still not working. It's a permanent license which I bought before 7.1 was released.

After you reset your license here, and then re-entered it in dolphin , does your license here in the licenses section show up as register, or is it still saying it's unregistered.

If the license at this end still says unregistered then your server is not meeting dolphin requirements and is not communicating with the boonex licensing server.

Check in your dolphin admin under tools and host tools to see if any problems are showing up.

Hello at all,

i have a question about licences too. I´m working on a dolphinwebsite, but at this time it is all prelaunch. I will use the unregistred 7.1 version as long as i´m working at the site. I want to register it as soon as the site will be launched. But the site has 2 Domains. Is it possible to register 2 Licences on 1 Installation ? And if yes can i mix them ? For example buy one Premium licence to get the mobile apps and one standart to get the site visible on the second domain ?

You can't run one copy of dolphin on more than one domain. And dolphin does not accept more than one license. So the answer is no.

In the future if your question does not match the topic of the forum, then start your own topic. In this case the topic is about dolphin not accepting the license. Your question is on using more than one license on a single copy of dolphin. The questions are completely different thus puts this forum out of topic.

I have a question about licenses too.  I have a permanent paid license assigned to my current domain with dolphin 7.0.9.  I would like to upgrade to 7.1 by myself (for free), but don't want the hassle or added expense if my paid license will not be accepted.  Has anyone else had trouble with this or should I be fine?

You should be fine. All paid licenses are permanent. They work with all versions of dolphin including 7.1

Those that are having problems are either server issues(Server not talking to boonex) or they are changing the domain and have either not reset the license or again back to the server issue.

Anyhow as long as your server is working correctly you should not have a problem. Licenses are not version specific. It will work on 7.1

Thanks Deano, the new version seems much improved and worth switching to.  I just didn't want to run into any new headaches since overall I'm happy with my current site

Dear DeanMonte.

You already contacted me before regarding this issue. But I had much work at that time.
Do you still need help with setting up your Windows server?
What is your site URL? Is Dolphin already installed on your site?

Hello!

I understand everything but the question is - the license you are asking to register is stored under the account where IgorL is an agent.

Please, refer your hosting provider to these pages - http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/Dol7Installation where they can find all the necessary info .

Regards, Lyubov

DeanMonte, as explained, you need to email uno@boonex.com and wait for a response. Nobody on here can help you.

One can understand DeanMonte's frustrations; not having access to one's license is a very important issue.  Even a small company like Boonex needs to give consideration to customer service.  If one goes to google and type "Boonex Customer Service" you get one result, the link to the contact form.  I am going to go out on a limb here and say that in my opinion a lot of the bad press that Dolphin gets is from the lack of good customer service.  Having a contact form that sends out an email that may or may not be seen by someone is very poor customer service.  That is probably part of DeanMonte's frustration; not having any idea if anyone has seen or cares about his issue.  I have mention this many times before; it will cost Boonex nothing to put in an open source ticket system.
