My Profile open

I have noticed that if you make your wall, files, groups ect viewable only by Friends, when a non friend searches they only see what you want. However, in the Menu bar they can click on the name, files, wall and see everything. The only thing the security key does is hide is from displaying on your profile. This seems likea major bug in the system that even though you set profile to friends everyone can see. Anyone else run into this?
