Music upload issues

Pssst, Hey, over here! I have some questions. My main question is - Are there some restrictions in Dolphin 6.1.4 Free as far as uploading music and or videos as far as file size or file type? I uploaded some music files and they uploaded, but there is the word PENDING in red next to the song listing and it won't play. How can this problem be fixed? In the Admin area there were 0 music files listed and none waiting for moderation. Thank

The default php.ini limit for uploading files is usually set to 2mb. Search the forum, cause that exact question gets answered quite frequently. Try the terms "upload limit" "upload error" "php.ini".

no there are no restrictions in Dolphin. what you will find is a restriction on your server in most instances. the server by default has a 2mb upload limit. this can be changed via php.ini if you are on a dedicated or vps box, overridden in .htaccess or creation of a php.ini on your docroot side.

if your files are saying pending, the deal here is that you have to go into the widgets, and set those files to auto-approve, or you have to go to your admin panel, and look there at the dashboard, and you will see that you have business pending. you can then select on the music section, and there you will be able to approve.

same problem. uploading some mp3 (4-5MB, uploads are set to 20MB in php and etc.). It uploads and then red "PENDING". If page refreshed - it disapear, if not it stays pending forever and a circle spinning next to it. In admin - approve - nothing show for approving.

it worked perfectly a week+ ado, I've uploaded mp3 and 20MB videos, but now ... mp3 just don't escape that red pending ... Any more ideas, except php_max_esecution and bla bla php settings I've already have changed and working - tested in phpinfo();

Guys I have been strugling with this one forever ...exoexo I believe your are right that it may be format specific issue  cause I can upload WMA files just fine ....anyway I had the very same problem and finally got mp3 uploads to work by using firefox instead of IE its seem as if if a mp3/IE thing I dont knoww..but it worked ..I know it not the best solution but its all I have until someone can figure out the source of the problem...Let me know if this works for u all

I can see files uploaded in folder (ray/modules/music/files) but instead of 10.mp3 for instance, they are 10_temp . Also in DB there is nothing (nothing with ID=10 at RayMusicFiles table where other older m3 are saved. For some reason script did not save them to DB and did not rename them from their temp names. Any ideas ?

PS: 10_temp mean that owner of file is with ID 10, just found that in tests. then it will be renamed to music ID.mp3 like 55.mp3, not 10.mp3

I have tried several times uploading wma music files but its not playing goes into not processed section and when i try to play says "File Error", Mp3 is working fine and i have no issues with mp3 though i notice mp3 file size is larger then wma file type.

If any one can guide how to make wma music file type working would appreciate.
