Moving Script Changing Domains ( Question )

I am moving dolphin script to a new domain name that is on the SAME server, I was told by my hosting

company that all I need to do is copy files over via ftp then edit 2 lines on file header.inc.php I did that it works great for a while

then I get errors page can't be found etc. Do I need to edit the database or something else ?

If you are getting 'Page cannot be found' with modules like Blogs, Forums, Photos, etc., did you also copy over the .htaccess file from the root of the old Dolphin installation?

thank you for the reply,

yes I did copy .htaccess

The error I get is the host default page that says page underconstruction etc. then it works for awhile then that

pops up again. even after the 24-36 hour propagation of nameservers.

I didn't remove the script from original domain I just pointed it to new domain I was afriad to delete the files.

The only other thing I can think of right off the bat is if you cleared your /cache, cache_public, and /tmp directories after the move. Remember not to delete the .htaccess file(s) in those folders.
