Modzzz and a lot of Modules left with issues

Ive bought a great deal of modules on Boonex, through my many accounts here I've bought about 120 modules. I have several modules for my main site which have been totally left unanswered.

First off let me express this clearly: Modzzz is a great programmer, and when you can actually get a response the help is great; but all in all I still have a bit of modules Ive purchased from him that still have items left not working, and messages unreplied to regarding them.

Let's start with Referral Contest: Every time I start a new referral contest, I have to contact him because this module will not work each time. It will not allow a new referral contest recreation, and also when it does allow the creation I click on add prizes and it says there is no contest. Everytime I contact him about this, I give him the login details and yes the referral contest works and I never hear if he had done anything or not.

Another mod from Modzzz that doesn't work at all and yet to get a response on is "Rewards". This mod does not work at all, no response on it and I bought it approximately 6 months or more ago.

Now my biggest issue which I have been inquiring about is the Bands module. I love this mod and it is fully in use through my music based site, and the problem is that when one of the bands click invite, it continually invites even people that are already fans. Ive sought out many options and havent gotten anywhere on this and yet to get a reply as to a fix to this mod so it will not invite current fans of the Bands; the only response is from everyone else stating the only one that can fix this is Modzzz.

Here is my issue, how many more months must we sit and wait while our members are getting upset to get a response on one module? The Bands Mod is one of the major functions of our site, if this problem cant be resolved then we have no alternative but to remove it, if we remove it we have no alternative but to use another software other than Boonex.

Can anyone help with this issue?

As stated above we love Modzzz work, and again when he does eventually reply to things in some cases things go good. Please help so we dont have to leave dolphin/ Thanks for any help anyone can give

I think he is very busy with Dolphin U or he has vacation maybe, because normally the support is great. We bought also a lot of modules from him and normally when something is wrong with it we get a reply very quickly and it's the problem gets fixed.

Nevertheless, it is not neat and businesslike to ignore messages from paying customers and leave them with "broken" modules. But as said before i have no idea what the reason is.

My inbox shows 120 back and forth messages between me and you since 2013. In almost all cases, you received same-day response from me so please do not try to give people the impression that I am non-responsive.

The proper method of getting support for modules is to use the support forum. Except for the Referral Contest issue which I fixed for you previously, I do not see anywhere where you have reported that you have problems with the Rewards and Bands modules. If you do not report the problems how do you expect me to fix them ?

Regarding the Bands issue which you just reported, a fix has been posted in the support forum.

How many months to get a 5 minute fixed, ends up in us switching platforms. We've always loved it here and a big portion of the developers. We had never had an actual issue with Modzzz as it states, until now.

We were not aware of the forums houston or we wouldve communicated there, being that many emails between us and modzz for over a year were via email and here. Ive bought most of his creations, and wouldve continued. Its when people make something that it is not is when things go bad. We wouldve never posted in a forum if it werent for being told that this was the only way he would reply and to do so. Funny how that is exactly what it took.

Its very clear no one read the original message, just was kind enough to show how ignorant they were.

Please be aware that many developers here suffer from "professional jealousy" and they try to bring down other developers by talking bad about them to clients in their private conversations. What they don't know is that the clients most times come back and expose what has been said. Anyone who follows the forums here will see my almost daily responses to support forums and my regular updates to products so they know that the "do not support his products" line is a blatant lie. I am one of the few developers here who have regularly updated products and provide support since Dolphin 6.0. I am also one of the only developers who will respond anytime in the night or on the weekend. I have nearly 200 mods and hundreds of past clients. Apart from Dolphin development, I have a full time 9-5 job and I am also a part-time university student. It is inevitable that from time to time there will be delayed responses and delayed updates for some products but that is not my normal operation and my regular clients know that.

I think people need to realise that things can get overlooked.  Hundreds of received emails for lots of products.  It can happen.  Happens in my job too.

People work, study, go on holiday, fall ill, there's any number of reasons why people can't respond.

I don't understand the purpose of these topics, if someone isn't satisfied from someone's product just stop buying from them, simple. If things go out of control, file a dispute. Whats the point of creating these topics, just giving everyone a place to burn time...

I almost stopped replying on forums here, because everywhere I go I see nothing but arguing people with each other and blaming each other. Should we stop it and get a life? 

 

Why don't we follow a simple algorithm to have everything in right place? 

 

If you don't get a response from a module/service vendor within a day or two, please don't freak out check your calendar: probably it's a weekend and there's nobody out there to pick up the phone/email/telegraph/snail mail/etc.

If you are waiting for 5 work days and longer, write in Disputes section or pm to some moderator/bosun.

I would recommend to write short line of text describing the main issue and a question, instead of writing one page of text about what's wrong or good with each part of your website. You'll get more chances to be heard.

If you had just a bad day, take a beer and a deep breath.

I find Modzzz to be a human being who programs and does his best to help people accomplish their goals.  He can at times seem to ignore you but it appears life enters into the situation during those times.  I find him to try to do his absolute best to help you and sometimes can go beyond what you expected. 

I further find some people don't know how the system is "suppose to work."  The crass and cryptic responses by developers trying to teach frustrated people who dream about building a site does nothing but further the frustration.  I further think the process is limited at best and ignores the brilliance of what Boonex and people like modzzz have built over the years.  You build a platform that has the perfect ability to parse out developers as main profiles and modzzz sub-profiles would allow each developer to have clients under them!  The store showing each product the developer sells linked back to the purchase taking place in the same place it does now.  IOW it would change nothing about the core tracking system of purchases.  

If done this would allow for a much better understanding of the process which is simply done now by wading through the process often when a client is frustrated and then has to be castigated for being upset and not following the correct process.  Where exactly is the process posted?  Hmmm It seems like it is at best a trial by fire.  OBTW modzzz has also developed a ticket system that would be perfect for developers on the main developers Boonex site to use so that each instance of a complaint can be tracked down and followed with the outcome.  We are all human but expect others we do business not to be.  I do think a ticket system is a fantastic way to log and track issues.  Some will prove out to be ridiculous requests and others can be brought to the dispute part of the process.  The fact that a ticket already has the history which is also part of the process would make the entire situation a much more effective system indeed.

Mixing people who are pissed with people who are let's say challenged in public relations in the same place others who are trolling and looking for a platform does nothing to further a brand.  Sure it is easier to do but branding is so important and the $64,000 question is how many don't have the intestinal fortitude to deal with a public forum that at best further frustrates people who don't have the time to figure what is suppose to be done. 

I can think of over the years how I wish there was a ticket system in place to track all the requests I have thought of and forgot over the years.  Linking them back to the developer and or platform in a time line and then groups them by issues by either the developer or platform seems like a dream.  It also would placate everyone involved except the issue itself if not resolved that is.

I bought almost all modzz mods and still buying whatever he release on the market. let's say 76 or more of his mods  I bought so far. I might only install 9 of them on my site.   I love his brain and ideas therefore; I have to support him no matter what.

 Come on let's do the math here = he has over 200 mods on the market of course the response will be a little slow. I don't mind that at all. But honestly; he will reply back as soon as he's done with the other clients that he was helping.

 

The faster response on here are: Dean by deano92964 and he is the best of the best with no question ask.  Raffaele by ilbellodelweb, Denre, AndrewP, AntonLV Those developers are very respectful. They understand you have a live site. it does not matter if your site have just one member they will treat your site like it has over million of people.

Plus they will not sleep until they fix whatever the issue plus giving you advice what to do to prevent that problem on the future.

those are the most respectful vendors on market. they are other developers but I am talking from 3 to 4 years experiences.

If you are looking for  the fastest service and solution those are the developers you should contact.

once again, thank you Modzzz for as i stated in every message for helping me to get this all taken care of. this entire forum post has been blown in so much of literally nothing.

i appreciate you my friend, and as always i will be working with you and the very few people on here that I literally talk to about everyday :)

my apologies to houston lively, i did misread your message. so please accept my apologies. yes modzzz is one of my favorite developers here, and sometime we send emails via outside of here, so whether the case be that the emails got lost, or the pacman ate them. either way it may be, somehow  we werent getting the messages on that specific subject. now i can honestly say theyre are 8 people on this entire website who have not been shady, and ive been a boonex member for 6 years. modzzz has NOT Once ever done me wrong, yes he and i get very busy. it happens. this message wasnt in no way intended to bring out so much stupidity, i only posted it here as i was told. i was merely looking for an alternative solution to get this patched. so my apologies first off to anyone who did not read the original post correctly and assume it was a complaint.

also i apologize to anyone that i maybe offended during this forum, none of this was meant to be what it turned out to be.

i did learn a lot from posting here, that there is only still those few in boonex which i know will do things right, and i have learned to no longer reach outside of those few people for any reason for help or advice. modzzz you are awesome, and i thank you. i also apologize for any of this misunderstanding and thank you for fixing the issue as well as selling me a few more modzzz.

now... can anyone delete this forum, because honestly it makes a lot of people here look very bad. thanks
