Module for chatting

Hello, I was wondering if there is a module out there that can permit, 2 users loging in the same membership, and use the chatroom..example member nick name mike logs on using the laptoip, and mike'S wife uses the other pc to log in the same account...but both of them cant go in the chatroom at the same time, so I need a mod that will allow this !!!

Why would you want 2 people to be able to login and chat with same account ?  I don't get it ... 2 people holding down one (the same) conversation?

its actually members that ask this...I don't really care about this....I was only asking if there is anything out there....I actually find it stupid also, but hey...I looked lollll

I've never tried logging into the same account from two different computers at the same time but if it's possible couldn't both people go into chat or simple messenger and do exactly what you're looking for?

I can see where the person is coming from; Dolphin supposedly has a couple registration but it is only half-arsed implemented.  I can see where a couple, each on their own computer, needed to log in at the same time.  They may have different friends on the same social site and want to chat with them.  So yes, there is a legitimate need for what the OP requested.  I have already determined that the couple registration in Dolphin is crap; I have just not bothered to move the couple accounts to a single account.

To the OP, what you need to do is find another way to have two members connected as a couple; each with their own account.

Modzzz has the "in a relationship with" module that might make it easier.  There might be other modules.  As for the couple accounts, it works by having a main account and then the second person in the couple can fill in the second part of the profile info; best way for couples is for both to have their own account and link the account with some "marker".  That way both parties of the couple can log on to chat and use the site independent of the other.
