Meta Tags

Hi, I have run an SEO check on my site www.uplate.com.au, I have 18 pages displaying no Meta Tags - About Us, Privacy, Terms, ect... Could someone tell me which header file to add these Tags to so I don't double up on pages displaying Tags already?

I have also got up to 833 violations on many site pages including css, mainly open tags. Is this a normal issue because it seems impossible to get page validation?

Thanks

 Forget the violations, not sure the FAQ and other pages are that important,

you can add them manually if you want.

e.g. faq.php in your root, some pages may be elsewhere..

<meta name="keywords" content="keywords" />

<meta name="description" content="description of site" />

If you are thinking of Google, seems I recall a paper from Google where they don't put a lot of importance on meta tags.

Deano has a software that is invaluable to anyone either for SEO Meta tags or whether you want to make header injections of software or browser directions. Head Injections is the tool that I use to adjust Meta Descriptions on pages that need them.

 As GG notes, Google has stated that Keywords are becoming less and less important. I think Megatag descriptions will also see their day.
