Menu Changes

Does anyone know if & how I can move the 'More' drop down menu from the Navigation Menu to the Service Menu? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

Can't be done.

Not without an overhaul.

One idea is to just put a limited amount of menu items on the menu (so that there is no "more) and then create a block on each page for the remaining items (just links), or add a list of links to the template below the menu.

Not ideal I know.  And will not be responsive - the "more" will show up on smaller devices.

Aah damn, okay thanks guys. I guess I will have to have a minimal Navigation Menu then. I was trying to eliminate some weird behavior by the theme when it loads the page by removing the Navigation Menu but I'll stick with it. Thanks again.

Weird behavior? With a custom template?

Sounds to me like you have a problem you should be reporting to the developer of the template so it can be fixed rather than patching it with a band-aid so the developer never knows about it thus it never gets fixed.

 I don't think it's any major flaw, it's just the Navigation Menu loads like the following when the page first loads;

                                                                 ITEM1ITEM2ITEM3ITEM4MORE

Then as the page completes loading the menu finally springs in to position as follows;

                                                                 ITEM1 | ITEM2 | ITEM3 | ITEM4 | MORE

In other words the menu is all bunched up until everything else on the page loads then it completes loading to it's correct positions. Hope that explanation makes sense. Not a major thing like I say but more a frustrating annoyance Laughing It looks like it's the separators that load last which causes the delay.

Sounds like you have a responsive template. Every responsive template i have see does that.

Yes, it has to load in the responsive menu part; something you have to live with until maybe a template designer can figure a different approach.

Aah okay guys, thanks Deano & GG for your clarifications, I didn't know that. I'll have to put up with it :)

If you don't necessarily need the dolphin menu, you can purchase php menu scripts from repositories like code canyon.  There are lots to test there with your smaller device.
