I would like to have my site set up where a memeber joins & I approve them. Once approved they are good.
When approving a new member I was changing status to active. I eventually figured out that I also had to change membership off of promotion. If I set this up so there is no promotional status will they not be able to do anything on the site until I approve them?
Im a little unclear on the difference between approval & promotional
