Mass Mailer

Hello to all...

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to fix the problem I am having with the mass mailer. I have tried on several occasions to send a mass mailing to our members, but seems to not be working. It only tells me that there are x amount of emails in queue. But as mentioned before, nothing happens more than that. Some help in this matter would be most appreciated.

Thank you all for your time, and God bless

David

I think the mass mailer is also tied to the cron job, to limit the amount of emails that are sent at any one time since one may be using a mail server that is not their own.

I had the same problem after installing 7.1.

I asked the server for help and was told that the problem was with cron.

They made the same change and soon worked!

Hi all.

I have doubts if my massmailer works correctly.

For exemple. I created a message and I tried to send to members, subscriptions, from 18 to 120 years, all regions, all everything. Rs...

When I clicked to send, a message indicated that I had 87 members with subscriptions (now I have 125 members in the whole community). After this appears a message indicating that I can send 20 messager each time (configured) and I have 17 messages in the queue to send.

How about the other messages?

How can I know how many messages were sent?

Thanks.

Mauro.

Is there a good step by step configuration guide for the mass mailer?

Mine has not worked since I changed service providers.

What files need to be looked at, edited, etc.

I still having emails stuck in the queue.

Thanks!

If you had it working before with the previous host then the only problem could be that your cron job is not firing. You need to check your cron job setup in CPanel.

Turned out the service at HFW was configured incorrectly. Or, so they say. It is now working as it should.

I have the same problem. What was the solution?

Dolphin requires that a cron job be setup as a normal part of the installation. If this cron job is not properly setup, emails will remain in queue and will not be sent.

I have the same problem. What was the solution?
