How to mail everyone in the community ?

 administration -> tools -> mass mailer

Mscott that's not everyone , only the ones who allow it

 If you want to email everyone, even the people who don't want you to, you have two options. Change everyone's mail preference in the database to yes and use the mass mailer or export the email addresses from the database and use a 3rd party mailer.

i already looked in my database but do not see any table with all the users in?

The database table is called Profiles and the field to be changed is called EmailNotify. You need to login to your admin panel and clear cache after making any changes to this table.
