Login and logout issue

Dear Sirs,

My dolphin site is http://www.actmalaria.net/dolphin and we're still on the test mode before we go public. I'm just having a problem in the logout login issue.

When I hit LOGOUT it says nothing until you hit F5 to refresh then you know you are logged out. And when you login with other user, the previous user appears to be logged in until you hit F5 again. Hope you can help me resolve this issue. Thank you.

If you are logging in as test users, it could be a browser caching issue you are seeing.  Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies and then log back in as a test user.

Yes sir geek. We've done that with IE, firefox, chrome, among others. But still, you need to REFRESH your browser to update your page. If you it's ok with you sir register with my dolphin with 2 accounts. then switch from other user to see how it is. http://www.actmalaria.net/dolphin

Here is one little problem I have, you claim you have a Dolphin tech working on your site.  Are you paying this Dolphin tech?  The problem with the template was an easy one to solve so I have to question things.  If you are paying a Dolphin tech then that tech should be fixing things.

Try creating 2 accounts. Login the first account, then browse through a few pages, then logout. Login the 2nd account the browse through pages. See the top header who is logged-in. You will have to refresh the page to see the current login user.

I could be wrong but I think this is your browser cache.

It's a caching problem. Caused by the content of your .htaccess file.

It other words, the solution was provided in this topic. http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/On-Adding-New-Friends.htm

Replace your .htaccess file with the original that came with dolphin. Yours has been modified.

And after you replace that file you will need to clear your browsers cache. The current .htaccess file is telling the browser to cache everything.
