 Hello, My site is EscortCircle.com. I am trying to localize my content (such as Forum, Ads etc) based on the "City" in profile of the user. I converted the City field during registration to drop down. Now what I would like to do is ask the user for City while they submit a new Ad or New forum topic etc. Can anyone tell me how I can do this? Thanks! |
You know, I'm really surprised that no one has ever come up with a mod like this or that the world maps module doesn't provide these features. The pieces are all there, except for forums--that is one bastard child--no one has connected the dots, so to speak. |
my first thought would be to add a city field to each form that you are wanting to put it on. But you would also need to add the city field to the appropriate database table. caredesign.net |
