 I have the Google API installed so the maps are showing. But the search does not work on this page, so I do not get the members icons showing above the map it just says empty when a search is carried out.
Nor do I get the flags of countries where members are located.
I have been looking around the forums for answers but have not be successful in getting it to work yet.
Please, any help would be much appreciated.

Be sure members you search after have uploaded profile photo, if they don't have a profile photo, your search result will be empty. My experience... |
Thanks for your help, but I am still not getting any search result from the world map.
I just don't get it, I thought that once you got you API updated profiles and cities this would just work? I there a step by step for the world map anywhere?
I can search for myself, on and off line and I still get "Empty" in the world map. I am obviously missing something. Does anyone know what that something is please?

is what members are active kind are no longer in the promotion zone or another, in your member area in the administration |
I have one "admin" and the others are "standard" members. All standard members are active. |
I have the exact same problem. The last time I posted about this they said I had to reload 7.0.5 - but I was already using 7.0.5. I never resolved it. |
Profile address field name for exact address geocoding:City or postal Code (ZIP). I can use either one of these and they show up. See MAP doc. Attached |
Thanks for your help, but I still do not have the world map working
My admin settings are similar to those in bluemax;'s (thanks) screen shot but, in my world map admin I do not have any flags displayed on the map even though I have updated profiles and cities.
If I look at a members profile there is a country flag displayed next to "Country". I just don't get it?
I'm getting a little frustrated with this. You know when you feel that you have done everything, but, it still doesn't work

Take the City out.. I don't have that in mine.. Mine works just fine.. Leave that field blank.. Then goto your ftp and clear cache(not .htaccess), cache_public, and the temp files. Then go back and re-update profiles and cities.. Hope that helps.. Worked for me a bit back |
Did what you said TruckingSpace to the letter, but I am still coming up "EMPTY" (no search results) in world map or flags

What do you mean "leave the city blank" Where? I did just try to update everything and clear cache. I get a DB error when I click "update cities". I posted about this, but Boonex staff just say "it has been reported". |
