Language for join page

Hello, when people join your site and there is like your name, username, birthday, hobby, like that but why there is no language like person can put what language he speak so people see what language other person can speak?

Create a new field and insert it to the profile!

You can insert as many fields you want!

Go to yoursite.com/administration/fields.php

That will open to the join form.  You drag a new item block to the form.  Please note that this interface is real time; there is no save button so changes made are reflected when you make them.  I have a test site for such things so I can work without making changes to my production site; then when I am sure, I can just do it again on the production site after I am sure.  Click on the "New Item" block to edit it.

If there is some area of editing the "New Item" that you don't understand, ask.

Edit: You do have to commit to the changes in the item block; Clicking on the item block and viewing contents will not make changes.  Dragging items around does.

Add a NEW_ITEM and give it the name Language


General

System Name: Language

Caption: Language I speak

Description: Please select language you speak, hold down Ctrl to select multiple countries.

Type: Multiple Selector



Advanced

Selector control: Select(Box)

Mandatory:

Possible values: #!Language

Used lang.key: LKey

Default value: 0


SAVE

Edit Profile

Owner:
Move item Language from Inactive Items to Active Items

Click on the item Language and add the missing Caption: Language I speak

SAVE


Admin:
Move item Language from Inactive Items to Active Items
if you wish to have Language visible when you edit a member as admin.

Admin:
Move item Language from Inactive Items to Active Items

Click on the item Language and add the missing Caption: Language I speak

Move item Language from Inactive Items to Active Items


Visitor
Move item Language from Inactive Items to Active Items,
if you wish visitor shall se it, if not, do nothing here.


4) DONE

You need to edit/add language on a profile before it will be visible on the profile page.
