Joining an event

Hi all.

Actually, when a member wants to "participate" to an event, it has to be confirmed by the admin of the event.

I probably did something cause before, they were automatically confirmed.

Why do I have to confirm them now ?

I believe - when the event is created - check the privacy section of the Add Event form. There should be an option called Join confirmation (I think). This can be changed while editing an event - byt the event creator or admin.

Newbie question: How do I get access to the "privacy section" ?

I've checked all around without finding :(

Edit the event.

When you scroll to the bottom of the event, it shows you all the privacy settings for that event.

Who can upload videos, photo's, join, post, etc...

Problem is that my "option box" looks to have some items missing.

The option box ( _bx_events_block_actions ) been put on page through the page builder.

Only choices I do have there are: Edit / Cancel / Join / Invite / Share / Broadcast / Unfeature / Connect / Manage / Add photo.

On the other hand, through admin / module / events, there's nothing there to guide me.

I probably did something wrong but just can't find it   :(

Click EDIT in the actions block when viewing the event. Then scroll down to the bottom and look for the section called Privacy.

Being French speaking, I misunderstood one of the choices.

In fact, I had to desactivate the subscription confirmation and I activate it.

Now that it's desactivate everything looks fine.
