Join site question

Is there a way to get in the description box to have the html option? I would love it if I can have that option for my members. I attach a pic

this has been discussed, and i think it was referenced that at one point my_space allowed html from its users, and it was a disaster. i can see where this could prove to be problematic, and from my perspective, not a necessary function, the larger majority of your members will most likely not have any html experience, thus this would create another level of required support.

Thanks DosDawg. In that case I will stay away from such thing. The reason why I asked was one of members wanted to add a picture slide show from flickr and I thought maybe if the discription box had the html feature like the ads section they could add the code in that box, but I see what you are saying.
