Join on page two of join.php does not work

If I move all of the profile fields to the first page I can create a profile.  If I split it into Page 0 and 1 (two pages), the Join Now button does not work.

I do not get a red circle with an exclamation point anywhere on the page except next to the Join Now button and I get a warning, "Form contains errors, please review errors and try again."  I cannot find any errors on the page though,

If I remember right when I did it, captcha has to be on the last page.

Is this still a problem or did you get it resolved?

It is still a problem.  Join now only works if I have a one page sign-up.  If I move some of the items (including the captcha) to page 2 it does not work.  I even tried having a second page but with the captcha and it did not work.

I have never played with this part of Dolphin.  I can play with it on my test site and see but that might not be much help.

I did what you posted in the other thread and although that changed my pages slightly, it did not solve the issue.  The Join Now (now showing as Submit) will not allow me to join.  I get a red circle with an exclamation in it that warns "Form contains errors, please review errors and try again."  But there are no errors showing on the page, there are no other red circles with exclamation points.

GG, I PM'd my site url to you if you'd like to see it for yourself.  What do you mean you've never played with that part of dolphin, it is just the join page.  Do you only have a one page join page?

See attached image.  I get the red circle here, but no where else on the page.  I can't seem to find any errors on the page.

I also just tried to make nothing mandatory on that page and I get the same error.  It used to work on two pages and then I added some js.  I'm assuming that this is the problem, but how can I get the js to work and the join page to work?

one thing i noticed - if you create a new field in the profile fields builder, and say you are on the advanced tab, but something from the general tab is not correct, then it does the same as you are describing.

So, it seems that maybe something on the first page of the form is not filled in, thus when on the second page, you get your error message when submitting form.

Issue solved.  I moved most of the non-mandatory fields to just the profile edit page (they're no longer on join form) and made the join page just a single page.  I think that I may actually like it better this way.

I'm not sure what the problem was, it was likely a new js that I added.  I'm not sure why it would let me go to the second page but would not let me join.  Either way, issue solved.

I don't have an advanced and general tab in the profile fields builder.  When I had it on two pages it would not let me go to the second page if there was something wrong on the first.

Well, it is working, which is the main thing.  However, we haven't found the problem.  When I went to your site the first time, the join form was just one page.  Sorry I disappeared from you; the weather turned nice here and I went out and worked outside.  Then came in and had dinner then a friend called and we talked for a few hours and I have just now return to catch up.

No worries.  I added the js for the spokesperson to the home page and join page yesterday and I am guessing that caused conflict with some dolphin js.  I had several people contact me saying that they weren't able to join though.  I don't want to have these issues just starting out so I just wanted to fix the issue even if we haven't found the problem.

Feel free to sign up on the site though. Cool

i was just referring to when adding a new profile field - as an example of how the same thing occurs there if all the fields are not properly done.

Say - you want to add a field to the profile called "alcoholic" - and you want it to be a checkbox. if you are on the advanced tab, and messed up something say on the general tab - like leaving a field empty, then the same functionality occurs where the field will not be created, cause there is an error on another tab (page).

I was just thinking that maybe something on your first page was required and not filled in, but since you are submitting form on second page, you dont see the missed field . hope that makes sense, but you got things situated now.

I too was getting this error on the second page.  As soon as IO moved the captcha to the end of the second page, everything worked great!   Thanks Steve The Exploiter
