Is there a PHYSICAL login link ???

I'm working on an image map that'll resolve within several subdirectories that we have available for our D7 setup. Since those subdirectories have features that are open to the public, and assuming that some people may just use a bookmark to get to those portals, I'd like to be able to include a login link on that image map as members may bookmark those location too. Is there a physical way of including a path to such a link, and if so what would it look like? Thanks to anyone who knows.

I am not quite sure i am understanding your question.

There is no seperate logon page. It's embeded as part of member.php. If a member is not logged in, redirecting them to member.php will present a logon form. The link in html would look like this.

<a  href="member.php">Login</a>

You can also present them with the popup logon form as long as your image map is on a page that includes the needed javascript to do it. The link for that in html would look like this.

<a alt="showPopupLoginForm(); return false;" href="">Login</a>

Yeah, that's one that I should have been able to figure out on my own. Thanks again.
We do have a couple of other portals, one of them a full-blown video site, and those each have their own login.php files. That's why I figured that it would be the same for D7 but couldn't find anything.
